Capacitação para articuladores de bairros promove conscientização sobre educação ambiental e coleta seletiva em Sobral
Nesta quinta-feira (22/06), a gerente de Educação Ambiental da AMA, Margareth Muniz, ministrou uma capacitação em educação ambiental voltada para os articuladores de bairros, no auditório da Prefeitura de Sobral. O objetivo é promover a sensibilização e o engajamento da comunidade na implantação da coleta seletiva porta-a-porta.
Durante a capacitação, foram abordados diversos temas relacionados à coleta seletiva, desde a importância da separação dos resíduos domésticos até a logística de recolhimento e destinação correta.
“A coleta seletiva no modo porta-a-porta será de fundamental importância para estimular a destinação adequada dos resíduos por parte da população. Além disso, a coleta seletiva promove a redução da exploração dos recursos naturais, reduz custos com a disposição final do lixo, promove a inclusão social através da geração de emprego e renda, diminui a proliferação de doenças, possibilita a melhoria na qualidade de vida e deixa a cidade mais bonita”, destaca a gerente de Educação Ambiental da AMA, Margareth Muniz.
O momento foi realizado pela Prefeitura de Sobral, por meio da Agência Municipal do Meio Ambiente (AMA), da Secretaria da Conservação e Serviços Públicos (Sesep) e da Secretaria do Urbanismo, Habitação e Meio Ambiente (Seuma) e reuniu líderes comunitários, representantes de associações e voluntários.
O momento foi conduzido também pela coordenadora de Gestão Integrada de Resíduos da Sesep, Cirliane Viana, e pela coordenadora especial da UGP do Prodesol da Seuma, Fernanda Fernandes.
