Golfinho morre após encalhar no Rio Coreaú, em Camocim
Um golfinho morreu na manhã desta sexta-feira (16) após encalhar próximo às margens do Rio Coreaú, em Camocim, no litoral Oeste do Ceará. O animal foi encontrado no local por moradores locais na quarta-feira (14).
Membros da Associação de Pesquisa e Preservação de Ecossistemas Aquáticos (Aquasis) mantiveram veterinários e biólogos tratando o animal desde o dia do encalhe.
Conforme a ONG Aquasis, por volta das 5h30 desta sexta, o golfinho não resistiu e foi a óbito. O corpo dele será levado para o Centro de Reabilitação da instituição, em Caucaia, na Região metropolitana de Fortaleza, para a realização da necropsia, que irá determinar a causa da morte do animal.
