Idosa alérgica a dipirona morre após receber dose do medicamento em hospital do Crato, no Ceará
Uma idosa de 76 anos morreu em um hospital do Crato, Cariri cearense, após receber uma dose de dipirona, medicamento ao qual era alérgica.
Francinete Barbosa da Silva deu entrada no Hospital Maternidade São Francisco de Assis no sábado (29) para tratar uma infecção grave no pé. Conforme nota da unidade de saúde, ela relatou que tinha alergia ao medicamento e recebeu uma pulseira de identificação da condição.
“Em sua pulseira de identificação, assim como na placa de identificação de leito da paciente, foi registrado o aviso sobre essa alergia. Por esse motivo, o medicamento não foi prescrito pela equipe médica e não constava do kit de remédios a serem ministrados à paciente”, relatou o hospital, em nota.

No entanto, um técnico de enfermagem ministrou a dipirona que constava de outro kit e fez a medicação endovenosa por conta própria, sem conferir o que havia sido prescrito pelos médicos. Ainda conforme informações do hospital, o técnico foi afastado imediatamente de todas as atividades assistenciais, tendo sido aberta apuração.
Após receber o remédio, a paciente teve reação e foi socorrida pela equipe médica do local, mas não resistiu e morreu na manhã desta segunda (31). O corpo foi encaminhado ao IML para investigação.
