Justiça Eleitoral inicia processo de preparação para eleições de 2024
O Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Ceará (TRE-CE) iniciou o processo de planejamento interno para as eleições de 2024, com a primeira reunião tendo sido realizada na última semana. Na ocasião, foram discutidos temas como orçamento, recursos humanos e produção e aquisição de materiais, além de calendário a ser seguido para que não haja intercorrências na execução das eleições municipais do próximo ano. São mais de 850 atividades previstas no calendário delimitado.
“O TRE-CE não atua somente nos anos eleitorais. Há toda uma programação prévia que precisa ser feita com cautela e responsabilidade, a fim de garantir a legitimidade de todo o processo”, destaca Edna Sabóia, uma das pessoas responsáveis por tocar o processo.
Conforme o cronograma operacional homologado pelo presidente do TRE-CE, desembargador Raimundo Nonato Silva Santos, todas as unidades do órgão participarão de reunião similar até a próxima terça-feira (8).
Preparação
Vistoria dos 6.770 locais de votação e prospecção de novos espaços, com estudo de acessibilidade das seções, treinamento de mesárias e mesários e distribuição das urnas são algumas das atividades desempenhadas pela instituição antes do pleito.
Além disso, o TRE-CE recebe, até 8 de maio de 2024, cidadãos aptos à votação para realizar alistamento, transferência de domicílio eleitoral e revisão de dados. O cadastro é fechado 151 dias antes das eleições. Ao todo, informa o Tribunal, o estado do Ceará possui mais de 6,8 milhões de eleitores, devendo ultrapassar a marca de 7 milhões em breve.
