Mãe é condenada a 14 anos de prisão por enterrar viva a própria filha recém-nascida em Camocim
A mãe afirmou que tentou abortar a criança, pois temia ser criticada por não ter condições financeiras de criar mais um filho.
Uma mulher foi condenada a 14 anos e três meses de prisão por homicídio qualificado após enterrar viva a própria filha recém-nascida. A decisão do Tribunal do Júri da Comarca de Camocim, foi proclamada nesta terça-feira (27).
De acordo com o Ministério Público do Ceará (MPCE), Raimunda Nonata Laurinda da Silveira teria planejado todos os detalhes do crime com antecedência. Ela escondeu a gravidez de nove meses dos familiares e a afirmou que tentou abortar a criança, pois temia ser criticada por não ter condições financeiras de criar mais um filho.
A 1ª Promotoria de Justiça de Camocim considerou a motivação do crime “fútil e desproporcional” e pediu a condenação de Raimunda Nonata por homicídio qualificado. A mulher, que está solta desde setembro de 2021, vai poder recorrer da decisão em liberdade.
O crime aconteceu em março de 2019 na localidade de Buriti, na zona rural do município litorâneo. Conforme a polícia informou ao g1 à época, moradores da região teriam chegado a ouvir o choro da bebê, procuraram a criança, mas já encontraram a recém-nascida sem vida e com diversos ferimentos pelo corpo.
“Ela morreu por asfixia, foi encontrada areia na traqueia, depois ela foi comida pelos bichos. Na perícia, a recém-nascida não tinha mais nenhuma víscera, nem coração, nem pulmão”, revelou o auxiliar de perícia do Núcleo da Perícia Forense (Pefoce), Antônio Veras Nogueira.
Ainda conforme o auxiliar da Pefoce, Raimunda Nonata “estava completando nove meses de gravidez e tomou chá de boldo para abortar. Foi para o quintal de casa, que é grande, na zona rural, e teve o bebê. A menina nasceu, chorou e depois parou, pensou que estava morta e enterrou”.
