Menino de 2 anos é salvo por policiais após se engasgar durante convulsão, em Juazeiro do Norte
Um menino de 2 anos de idades foi salvo por policiais militares após se engasgar durante um crise convulsiva na casa da família no Bairro Romeirão, em Juazeiro do Norte, no Cariri cearense, na madrugada desta sexta-feira (23).
A Polícia Militar informou que os agentes da 1ª Companhia do 2º Batalhão de Juazeiro foram acionados ao endereço por volta das 2 horas. Na ocasião, os pais informaram ao militares que o garoto teria se engasgado com secreção.
Os policiais colocaram a família no carro da corporação e seguiram para o hospital. No trajeto, a agente Ana Clara segurou a criança desacordada e realizou a manobra de Heimlich, para desengasgar o menino.
Após a manobra, a criança teve as vias aéreas desobstruídas e voltou a respirar. Ao chegar no hospital, os médicos deram sequência ao atendimento e estabilizaram a vítima.
De acordo com a equipe médica, as manobras de atendimento pré-hospitalar, bem como o rápido direcionamento da criança à uma unidade de atendimento, foram fundamentais para salvar a vida do garoto.
Na unidade de saúde, o pequeno passou por um atendimento de emergência, que constatou que ele estava fora do risco.
