Operação Federal recupera terrenos alvos de grilagem em Camocim
Cerca de 25 hectares de terrenos de Marinha e de áreas de preservação permanente foram recuperados em ação de combate à grilagem no município de Camocim, na última quinta-feira, 1° de junho.
A ação foi resultado da parceria entre o Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (Ibama), a Superintendência do Patrimônio da União (SPU) e a Polícia Militar do Ceará (PMCE).
Os cercamentos foram identificados pelo Ibama na região próxima a praia da Barra dos Remédios. Durante o desmonte, foram removidas cercas, estacas e outras estruturas que demarcavam o território tomado ilegalmente em dunas, margens de lagos e manguezais.
Ninguém foi encontrado no perímetro cercado para que fossem efetuadas prisões, segundo os órgãos públicos. O Ibama, a SPU e o Ministério Público Federal (MPF) comandam as investigações para identificar os responsáveis pelo crime de grilagem no litoral da cidade.
Conforme informações do Ibama, a grilagem é uma prática que tem se tornado constante no município de Camocim. No final de fevereiro, outra operação foi deflagrada, desta vez na praia de Tatajuba, onde uma área equivalente a 50 campos de futebol foi recuperada.
O Ibama, a SPU e o Ministério Público Federal comandam as investigações para identificar os responsáveis pelo crime de grilagem no litoral da cidade. A população pode contribuir com as investigações através do sistema de ouvidoria do Ibama, no número 0800 61 80 80.
De acordo com a Lei nº 6.766, de 19 de dezembro de 1979, configura-se no crime de grilagem efetuar loteamento ou desmembramento do solo para fins urbanos, sem autorização do órgão público competente, ou em desacordo com a lei.
Também é caracterizado o delito em casos de divulgação de afirmação falsa sobre a legalidade de loteamento ou desmembramento do solo para fins urbanos, ou ocultação de fato a ele relativo.
As penas podem variar entre 1 a 4 anos de reclus|ao, e multa de 5 a 50 vezes o salário mínimo vigente no país.
