Petrobras anuncia redução de R$ 0,12 na gasolina e aumento de R$ 0,25 no diesel
Gasolina tipo A passará a ser vendida a R$ 2,81 por litro às distribuidoras. Já o diesel será comercializado a R$ 4,05. Mudanças entram em vigor no próximo sábado.
A Petrobras anunciou nesta quinta-feira (19) que irá reduzir o preço médio da gasolina e aumentar o do diesel vendidos às distribuidoras. A mudança passa a valer no próximo sábado (21).
- A gasolina terá redução de R$ 0,12 por litro, comercializada pela petroleira a R$ 2,81 o litro.
- O diesel terá aumento de R$ 0,25 por litro, passando a cobrar R$ 4,05 o litro.
Segundo a petroleira, seus preços de venda tanto da gasolina como do diesel acumulam queda neste ano. No caso da gasolina, a redução é de R$ 0,27 por litro e, do diesel, de R$ 0,44 por litro.
“A estratégia comercial que adotamos nesta gestão tem se mostrado bem-sucedida, sobretudo no sentido de tornar a Petrobras competitiva no mercado e ao mesmo tempo evitar o repasse de volatidade para o consumidor”, afirmou o presidente da empresa, Jean Paul Prates.
A petroleira anunciou em maio deste ano mudanças em sua política de preços. Desde então, a estatal não segue mais a política de paridade internacional (PPI), que reajustava o preço dos combustíveis com base nas variações do dólar e da cotação do petróleo no exterior.
A companhia explicou que os seus preços para as distribuidoras estariam no intervalo entre:
- o maior valor que um comprador pode pagar antes de querer procurar outro fornecedor;
- e o menor valor que a Petrobras pode praticar na venda mantendo o lucro.
Entretanto, apesar de a Petrobras produzir grande parte da gasolina e diesel consumidos no Brasil, o país ainda depende de importações – cujos preços são definidos de acordo com a cotação internacional.
Quando há grandes descompassos entre o valor no mercado internacional e o preço interno, a atividade de importação deixa de ser economicamente atrativa para algumas empresas, e isso pressiona o abastecimento.
No comunicado desta quinta-feira, a Petrobras afirmou que a nova estratégia ajudou a mitigar “os efeitos da volatilidade e da alta abrupta de preços externos”.
Vale lembrar que os valores praticados pela petroleira não são os mesmos dos postos de combustíveis. Os preços nas bombas também levam em conta os impostos e a margem de lucro das distribuidoras e revendedoras.
Conflito no Oriente Médio e alta do petróleo
O comunicado da Petrobras foi divulgado em meio ao conflito entre Israel e Hamas, que tem causado aumento na cotação do petróleo no mercado internacional.
Na quarta-feira (18), o ministro de Minas e Energia, Alexandre Silveira, falou sobre o assunto e descartou o risco de desabastecimento de combustíveis no Brasil por causa do aumento de preços.
“A Petrobras tem tido toda a responsabilidade na questão do suprimento de combustível no Brasil. Inclusive, essa responsabilidade é do Ministério de Minas e Energia, de manter qualidade de produto e garantia de suprimento”, declarou.
O petróleo do tipo Brent – usado como referência no mercado – estava sendo negociado a cerca de US$ 93 nesta quinta, uma alta de quase 10% desde o início da guerra no Oriente Médio.
