Real Madrid denuncia crimes de ódio e discriminação contra Vinícius Jr ao Ministério Público espanhol
Brasileiro, que joga no clube madrilenho, paralisou jogo contra o Valencia para denunciar torcedores que o chamavam de 'macaco'. Chefe da liga espanhola negou haver discriminação racial na Espanha, mas presidente da federação espanhola de futebol reconhece que país "tem um problema com racismo".
O Real Madrid apresentou nesta segunda-feira (22) uma denúncia na Procuradoria-Geral da Espanha por delitos de ódio e discriminação contra o brasileiro Vinícius Jr, que joga no clube espanhol.
Vinícius Jr. voltou a ser alvo de ataques racistas no domingo (21) durante um jogo de seu time contra o Valencia, no estádio Mestalla, em Valência, no sudeste da Espanha. A partida chegou a ser interrompida após o brasileiro apontar torcedores que o ofenderam. Ele foi expulso depois de ser agredido por um jogador adversário.
“O Real Madrid considera que tais ataques também constituem um crime de ódio, razão pela qual apresentou denúncia correspondente à Procuradoria-Geral do Estado, especificamente à Procuradoria contra crimes de ódio e discriminação, para que os fatos sejam investigados e apuradas as responsabilidades”, declarou o clube madrilenho, em um comunicado.
Na noite de segunda-feira, o técnico do Real Madrid, Carlos Ancelotti, já havia saído em defesa do brasileiro. Em entrevista coletiva depois do jogo, Ancelotti se recusou a falar sobre a partida e atacou a La Liga, a liga espanhola dos clubes de futebol da Espanha.
‘Não existe racismo na Espanha’
Também nesta segunda, o presidente da La Liga, Javier Tebas, rebateu críticas feitas pelo brasileiro à liga espanhola, por se omitir diante de casos similares, e afirmou que “nem a Espanha, nem a La Liga são racistas”.
“É muito injusto dizer isso”, declarou Tebas. “Não podemos permitir que se manche a imagem de uma competição que é sobre o símbolo de união de povos, onde mais de 200 jogadores são de origem negra em 42 clubes que recebem em cada rodada o respeito e o carinho da torcida, sendo o racismo um caso extremamente pontual (9 denúncias) que vamos eliminar”.
Já o presidente da Federação Espanhola de Futebol, Luís Rubiales, defendeu Vinícius Jr. e afirmou que há, sim, um “problema com racismo em nosso país”. Ele pediu ainda que a CBF “ignore” as posições do presidente da La Liga, que chamou de “irresponsável”.
“Peço ao presidente da CBF que ignore o compartamento irresponsável da La Liga, que entra nas redes sociais em um enfrentamento com um jogador que horas antes recebeu insultos racistas”, declarou.
No domingo, o presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva também falou sobre o caso e cobrou ações da Fifa e da La Liga, e o Ministério da Igualdade Racial afirmou que notificaria autoridades espanholas e a liga do país.
