Romeu Aldigueri propõe lei que prevê notificação em tempo real de quedas de energia elétrica no Ceará
Foi protocolado, na Assembleia Legislativa do Ceará (Alece), o projeto de lei nº 67/2023, de autoria do deputado Romeu Aldigueri, que dispõe sobre a obrigatoriedade de concessionária de energia elétrica no Ceará informar, em tempo real, sobre interrupções de seus serviços. A proposta determina que as informações sejam disseminadas por todos os meios de comunicação disponíveis, incluindo as redes sociais, assegurando que os consumidores sejam prontamente informados sobre quaisquer descontinuidades no fornecimento de energia.
A iniciativa surgiu em resposta, conforme o parlamentar, ao crescente número de reclamações sobre interrupções no fornecimento de energia elétrica, que teriam causado prejuízos a consumidores residenciais e ao setor comercial. A falta de comunicação adequada por parte das concessionárias, incluindo a prestadora de serviço no Ceará, a Enel, tem sido um ponto crítico, afetando negativamente a vida cotidiana e a atividade econômica no estado.
“Mais do que simplesmente notificar sobre ocorrências, a lei também obriga que sejam fornecidas explicações claras sobre os motivos das interrupções e estimativas para o restabelecimento dos serviços. Além disso, a medida abre caminho para que consumidores afetados busquem reparações judiciais por eventuais danos, fundamentando suas ações em informações oficiais e transparentes fornecidas pelas concessionárias”, defendeu Aldigueri.
O projeto estabelece que o descumprimento das novas regras sujeitará as concessionárias a multas, cujos valores serão destinados ao Fundo de Defesa dos Direitos Difusos do Estado do Ceará (FDID), reforçando o compromisso do estado com a defesa dos direitos dos consumidores.

A Enel tem até o fim desta semana para esclarecer ao Departamento Municipal de Proteção e Defesa dos Direitos do Consumidor (Procon) as recorrências de quedas e oscilações de energia no Estado. Em menos de 2 meses, houve um aumento de 81% nas reclamações de consumidores acerca do serviço prestado pela empresa de energia. O número de reclamações e denúncias motivou o Procon a questionar sobre os problemas na distribuição elétrica e na demora no atendimento aos clientes. Segundo o Procon Fortaleza, a empresa poderá ser responsabilizada pelo dano causado aos consumidores devido às oscilações e quedas de energia, devendo consertar, substituir ou ressarcir o equipamento danificado, sob pena de multa que pode chegar a R$ 17 milhões, caso não sejam cumpridas as determinações da legislação.
