Servidores do Detran, despachantes e empresários são presos por adulteração de carros
Operação da Polícia Civil do Estado do Ceará (PC-CE) cumpriu 14 mandados de prisão preventiva na sexta-feira, 30, contra uma organização criminosa por adulteração de veículos. Acusações incluem crimes de falsificação de documentos públicos e particulares, adulteração de sinais identificadores de veículos automotores, corrupção ativa e passiva e estelionato com o objetivo de obter indevida vantagem econômica.
Grupo era composto por despachantes, funcionários de cartórios, empresários, servidores públicos, entre outras pessoas. Identidades dos acusados não foram divulgadas. Operação foi realizada pela Delegacia de Roubos e Furtos de Veículos e Cargas (DRFVC), que conduziu a investigação ao longo de dois anos.
Também foram cumpridos nove mandados de monitoração eletrônica, 41 mandados de busca e apreensão domiciliares, além de 41 mandados de busca pessoal e três afastamentos de funções públicas. “A PC-CE espera, que com a análise do material apreendido em poder dos alvos da operação, outros envolvidos sejam devidamente identificados e consequentemente responsabilizados criminalmente”, acrescentou o órgão.
Por meio de nota, o Departamento Estadual de Trânsito do Ceará (Detran-CE) declarou que repudia qualquer tipo de conduta indevida, seja de servidor público ou colaborador, e que tomará as providências necessárias, de acordo com a apuração policial.
“Para coibir irregularidades e investigar quaisquer suspeita de ilicitude, o Detran-CE atua em parceria com os órgãos de segurança pública”, afirma a nota.
Detran afirmou ainda que vem investindo em tecnologia, como vistoria digital, com sistemas de georreferenciamento, reconhecimento facial, entre outros, “os quais combatem as tentativas de práticas indevidas ou criminosas, no sentido de resguardar as informações do proprietário do veículo e do próprio bem pertencente a ele”.
