Suspeito de envolvimento em assassinato de inspetor da Polícia Civil em Granja é morto em confronto
Na madrugada desta segunda-feira (18/12), por volta das 2h30, ocorreu um trágico incidente no bairro do Oiteiro, em Granja. Edvando Sales dos Santos, conhecido como “Macumbeiro”, foi surpreendido por policiais do Batalhão Especializado de Policiamento do Interior (BEPI) em seu apartamento. Segundo relatos preliminares, houve um confronto entre Edvando e os policiais, resultando em ferimentos graves.
Os policiais rapidamente prestaram socorro a Edvando, levando-o para a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) de Granja. No entanto, ele chegou à unidade médica já sem vida.
Durante a operação, as autoridades apreenderam uma pistola e um revólver no local. A presença dessas armas indica a possibilidade de que Edvando estivesse armado durante o confronto.
Forças policiais continuam em operação de saturação por todo o município na busca de outros suspeitos que estariam envolvidos no assassinato do Inspetor de Polícia Civil, Glicélio Félix de Almeida.
As investigações estão em andamento para determinar os fatos exatos.
