Ceará deve receber R$ 17,7 bilhões para Bolsa Família e BPC neste ano, diz ministro Wellington Dias

O ministro de Desenvolvimento Social, Wellington Dias (PT), afirmou que o Ceará deve receber R$ 12,5 bilhões para o Bolsa Família e mais R$ 5,2 bilhões para o Benefício de Prestação Continuada, também conhecido como BPC.
Dias está em Fortaleza, nesta sexta-feira (16), para a solenidade de entrega dos cartões-alimentação do Programa “Ceará sem Fome“, do Governo do Ceará. Também participaram da solenidade o governador Elmano de Freitas (PT), a senadora Augusta Brito (PT) e o líder do Governo na Câmara dos Deputados, José Guimarães (PT), além de secretários de Estado e prefeitos cearenses.
“A sensibilidade e o compromisso do governador – isso também já aconteceu antes com o governador Camilo (Santana, PT), com o governador Cid (Gomes, PDT) – garante agora que o Ceará, nesta largada, já tenha um patamar de pessoas que saem da extrema pobreza maior. (…) Então eu comemoro porque o Ceará está dando um passo primeiro e, a partir daí, estimulando todo o Brasil”, disse.
No discurso, o ministro apontou o fato de que o Brasil tinha “derrubado a fome no começo do século, agora subiu”. Ele afirmou que dados apontam que, pelo menos, 33 milhões de brasileiros estão “com fome”. “Imagine quem, nesse horário, não tem a certeza do almoço, nem do café da manhã e da janta”.
“Aqui não é só um ato para o Ceará, aqui é um ato para o Brasil. O desafio é esse: Ceará sem fome, Brasil sem fome”, disse. Durante a coletiva de imprensa, ele aproveitou para dizer que o presidente Lula “pediu para dizer aqui ao povo do Ceará que o governador não está só. Nós vamos trabalhar juntos, porque é junto que a gente faz mais”.
PARCERIA COM O GOVERNO FEDERAL
Dias aproveitou para ressaltar os programas federais que atendem famílias no estado, principalmente o Bolsa Família – que alcança 2,5 milhões de famílias cearenses, segundo o ministro. Ele ressaltou ainda o lançamento de outras iniciativas pelo governo federal que devem contribuir para “trazer dignidade” e contribuir para “a inclusão socioeconômica”.
Entre os citados, estão os programas “Minhas Casa, Minha Vida”, já lançado pelo presidente Lula, e outros que devem ser implementados “nos próximos dias”, segundo Dias, como o “Água para todos”, o “Luz para Todos” e o “Internet Brasil”.
O ministro afirmou ainda que, para além da transferência de renda, a intenção é contribuir para a geração de emprego e renda, com foco nas pessoas cadastradas no CadÚnico, onde estão registradas famílias de baixa renda e em situação de vulnerabilidade.
“A gente trabalha também, combinados municípios, estados e governo nacional, para gerar emprego, fazer crescer a renda e olhar para o Cadastro único, qualificar pessoas no cadastro único e garantir que, nas oportunidades que surgem, a gente priorize quem está no Bolsa Família, quem está no cadastro único, seja com emprego, seja com empreendedorismo”, ressaltou.
