Governo manda Caixa suspender cobrança de Pix para pessoa jurídica
Por ordem do Palácio do Planalto, a Caixa Econômica suspenderá a cobrança de tarifa sobre movimentações via PIX feitas por clientes que tenham conta de pessoa jurídica. Ou seja, quem é cadastrado no banco pelo CNPJ não será mais cobrado ao fazer transferências e compras pelo PIX.
A tarifa iria começar a valer a partir de 19 de julho. Mas o anúncio feito pelo banco, nesta segunda-feira, causou incômodo no presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e ministros, segundo fontes do Planalto.
A tarifa prevista varia de R$0,89 a R$ 1,20 sobre o valor operação e é autorizada pelo Banco Central desde novembro de 2020. A Caixa havia informado que outros bancos também embutem a tarifa no PIX e que praticaria os menores preços de mercado.
Para atenuar o anúncio, o banco também havia informado que pessoas físicas, microempreendedores individuais e beneficiários de programas sociais continuariam isentos.
