PM que matou jovem dentro de delegacia em Camocim é demitido da corporação

A Controladoria Geral de Disciplina dos Órgãos de Segurança e Sistema Penitenciário (CGD) decidiu pela demissão do soldado George Tarick de Vasconcelos Ferreira. Ele é acusado de matar a tiros Matheus Silva Cruz, de 19 anos, dentro da Delegacia Regional de Camocim (Litoral Norte do Estado). A decisão foi publicada nessa sexta-feira, 1º no Diário Oficial do Estado (DOE).
O caso aconteceu na madrugada do dia 6 de fevereiro de 2022. Tanto o PM quanto o jovem morto estavam em uma boate quando, conforme denúncia do Ministério Público Estadual (MPCE), George Tarick esbarrou em Matheus. Ocorreu, então, uma discussão entre os dois, que evoluiu para uma luta corporal.
Os seguranças da boate contiveram a briga e conduziram Matheus e um amigo ao piso térreo do local. Os dois decidiram ir embora, mas, conforme a denúncia, foram surpreendidos por George, que passou a dar murros no vidro dianteiro do carro da vítima.
Matheus teria passado a ser agredido e o seu amigo também, atacado por dois outros policiais. Matheus desvencilhou-se do agressor e correu em direção coreto da cidade, mas foi contido por três PM à paisana, conforme a denúncia. “Há indícios de que um policial militar arrancou parte da orelha da vítima Matheus durante a contenda”, afirmou o MPCE.
PMs de serviço foram acionados para o caso e conduziram Matheus e seu amigo à delegacia. Pouco tempo após a chegada da vítima, George chegou à delegacia. A execução ocorreu quando Matheus pediu para lavar o rosto no banheiro, já que estava ferido e ensanguentado, segundo investigação.
“Ao adentrar pela última vez no recinto e sem qualquer aviso prévio, o denunciado George, com intenção de matar, desferiu vários disparos de arma de fogo em direção à vítima MATEUS”, afirmou a denúncia.
Na CGD, a defesa do PM afirmou que “o aconselhado jamais teve o interesse em ceifar a vida da vítima, desde o início de todos os fatos, o aconselhado usou de todos os meios legais para que aquela ocorrência terminasse consoante a lei, o que ocorre é que desde o início até o fato ocorrido na delegacia a vítima em nenhum momento deixou de proferir ameaças contra o aconselhado”.
A versão foi descartada pelo órgão correicional. O Conselho de Disciplina mencionou que o próprio acusado, em depoimento à Polícia Civil, confessou ter cometido o crime após “puxar a arma e perder o controle”.
“Por mais que ele possa ter sido agredido em momento anterior pela vítima, sua reação não se justifica de modo algum, ainda mais se tratando de um policial militar, sendo manifestamente desproporcional matar alguém em razão de tal motivo, o que vem a ser exatamente que caracteriza a futilidade”, consta na decisão assinada pelo corregedor-geral Rodrigo Bona Carneiro.
Na esfera criminal, o PM aguarda julgamento. Em 20 de fevereiro deste ano, a 1ª Vara da Comarca de Camocim decidiu por levá-lo a julgamento no Tribunal do Júri. Sua defesa recorreu e o pedido ainda é avaliado.
